Nah, that goal was on Konate and Van Dijk.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostJones was trying to press Salah’s man because Salah wouldn’t.
Allied to us playing a non specialist right back.
You need to clear up at source.
Right Wing in a 433 isn’t a position with defensive responsibilities. Thats how we’ve played 433 for the last 10 years.
We are just at times a disfunctioning team out of possession.Modifying post.

I do think we got some good players at good prices that last close season. I don't think Kerkez was overpriced, and Frimpong is a steal. Don't forget we got Rio for next to nothing as well, but, yeah Hughes still has a lot to answer for. Isak and Wirtz have been disastrous in terms of delivery.Originally posted by Charly View PostIbthink we meed to.learn the lesson and stop buying overpriced strikers from Newcastle.
Remember when we bought fantastic bargins? We have pissed the best part of half a billion on players wholy unsuitedReally?

At least Isak has an excuse with his fitness and injury issues, Wirtz has just been ****. Two shocking signings for this season, two boys have alot to prove next season.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostI do think we got some good players at good prices that last close season. Yeh, definitely not blaming Isak. The point is we spent a huge part of our budget on two players and still have gaps in the squad. I like signing big name (money?) players as much as anyone, but without them (or rather cheaper alternatives), we could have so much firepower now for gap fill. We now face the close season knowing we need quite a few players, but with more limited funds.Originally posted by danperkins View PostAt least Isak has an excuse with his fitness and injury issues, Wirtz has just been ****. Yeah it looks like pure negligence
