Goal really knocked the stuffing out of Everton. We seemed to have settled after the goal.

Yeah, I'm cringing every time Jones is ****ing about with it in the right back position, expecting the worst to happen.

Em, we were shocking until we scored out of nothing. Looked comfortable after that. Not quite sure what to make of it to be honest....winning at least.

Looking at the replay of the penalty claim, there was absolutely nothing in it.

First goal at the dick stadium in a derby to Liverpool and Mo Salah.

Massive momentum swing on the disallowed goal and then us scoring. Crowd killer.

We’ve looked decent but getting outmuscled a fair bit. Isak takes up some great positions or drops in looking for work, but we don’t look for him. He can handle the ball under pressure so we do need to find a way to get him more involved.

How long can Isak play 2nd half and who comes on for him? You would assume Ngumoha and move Gakpo or Salah into the middle but will he want to play Ngumoha for 30+ mins in the derby?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Think Ngumoha could be excellent in this game. Gakpo has found a lot of so e on the left.

You’d think Isak will get another 15 but I imagine Slot will bring on Mac Allister and move Wirtz to the left before using Rio in this game. I hope it is Rio who comes on but I’m not convinced Slot will use him until later in the game.

I expect the second half will start like the first. All about our defending from here, and hopefully pick them off on the break.

Gakpo has done pretty well, they even looked surprised that he cut inside at one point, but rio would give them far more to think about. Maybe when isak goes off, and gakpo takes up the central position.

Just to confirm though, it is the top 5 who qualify for Champs league and not just the top 4? So Sky making a big deal out of the Villa game re this game is not really relevant?
                            Really?

Yeah he has, was a great assist - but assuming Isak can’t manage 90
I reckon Gakpo up front and Rio left will work. The fact Everton aren’t solely looking g at him (Gakpo) cutting in is staggering.

Seems like a no brainer to me to engineer a substantial amount of time with Rio, Frimpong and Isak playing together? Don't get why Slot hasn't done this.
                                Really?
