Yep. Real good way to get people behind the "Don't spend a pound in the ground" protest.
Berate people, insult people, swear in front of small children and still think you are holding some sort of working class hero moral higher ground.
Heard a rumour it was Deano.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yeah, comes across as a horrible fella. If he's so upset about ticket prices, why is he in there in the first place?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

and I rarely spend anything in the ground anyway when I go, can't stand Carlsberg plus I'm usually driving these days. I get the thinking behind it but to call em out as scabs is way to far IMO
I make no apologies, this is me

To be honest I am not comfortable with the protests at the ticket price increases.
We are a well run club and in order have success and stay within our means we need to generate income.
Players Salaries and agent fees are alot higher and in my opinion are more of a problem than what is rather mild price increases on tickets.
Supporters want us to be competitive and these owners have been fantastic, so for SOS to suddenly start to demonise them stinks a little. I have the impression this is more about trying to justify their own existence and remind us that they exist.Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

and a
especially top the highlighted bit.
The entire thing smacks of opportunism imo (going by some of the comments made by some higher ups in tSoS ). Have a feeling if we were rolling towards retaining the title or similar that the same lets find a stick to beat the owners with would not be gettingf pushed.
And the same "you're a scab if you disagree with us" or "you are just an OOT/Wool/plastic fan if you dare question us" tactics seem to be in full flow.
Totally agree with your point regarding player wages and especially Agent fees too.
If groups want a price freeze, then the support base as a whole best adjust their expectations over time as to how competitive they want the club to be on the pitch.
Not saying the ticket price rise would be the difference as in isolation the funds raised by a ticket increase might appear "small" compared to other costs, but that is if one choses to ignore your point about us being a well run club and how the finances raised by different wings of the club/business pay for sifferent things and if we want to remain well run then each wing needs to raise the required incomes to cover it's own costs.
So the comments/arguements being made about how all the players just need to donate X amount of their wages each season to offset ticket price increases or the same players should take wage cuts is a moot one as the same player will just look to go elsewhere and what replaces them on the lesser wages will then be reflected in theleague table and we will eventually see many seasons in a row hoping for things like finishing fourth and that being a good result than being as we are now and seeing finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th as being a poor season.
Though to contradict myself a little bit, I do think that something needs to be looked into in order not to price regular people, especially locals though not just them, out of having a match day experience and to not price young fans totally out of the game and kill off future in stadium passionate support. What exactly that thing is that creates all that is I do not know.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
