Solid. Reads the game well. No issues down the left to be honest. Then again, Citeh don't have that much down the right side anyway.

Just doesn't give us attacking options.

We just looked solid but with little or no idea how to break them down.

If Man City didn't have a worse away record than us, we would have lost. Today's performance was almost as bad as our performance against the Mancs.

But we have a better squad than last season when we regularly put in performances like that home and away.

What people seem to be forgetting is that our main play-maker in Alonso wasn't on the pitch, and even off form as he has been he's still capable of spraying good passes round and delivering the intelligent defense splitting ball.

We also haven't got an outlet on the right because Sissoko is injured, thus Gerrard is in the middle and leaves us with only Pennant out there which isn't much.

Then you've got Gonzalez, Kewell and Aurelio from the left hand side injured, thus nullifying nearly all of our creativity from that side.

Gerrard was really the only creative outlet today, but he had to cover for Zenden so much who absolute ****e, at least this isn't necessary when Alonso plays.

Then we have Kuyt who has to come deep to pick up the ball and thus we loose a man up front, and Crouch has looked pretty lazy in the last 2 matches and doesn't get himself into space when Kuyt wins the ball.

So basically a Liverpool side that didn't have 4/5 injured first team players out would probably have killed them.
