I've done some ratings - Reina was MOM with 9/10, and my next best two were Carra and Gerrard on 7 each.

It didn't quite happen for Gerrard tonight but it wasn't for a lack of effort or desire. When I criticise SG it's usually for what I perceive to be a lack of desire and a tendency to sulk when the chips are down, but I was happy on that front tonight.

Shaggy, I think Zenden is **** (and I mean seriously so) - but I didn't think he was as **** as he normally is tonight. In fact there were more of our players who were ****ter than him.

Must agree with the majority on here, Reina has to have it!

He's kept us in with a shout for the second leg with his saves.

He'll need to be at his very best yet again next Tuesday, but unless the attacking players are firing on all cylinders it won't make an ounce of difference!

I respect your opinion mate but I thought Zenden was seriously abysmal. I wasn't surprised, but his use of the ball was so so so so poor. The only positive was that he held his position and offered us width and an outlet - but it's no good having an outlet who ensures each and every move breaks down once the ball arrives at his feet.

Our biggest sinners tonight, IMO, were Bolo, Arbeloa, Kuyt, Alonso, Bellamy, Rafa and Agger.

i think rafa got a tactical run over last night by jose. we pressed them way to up the pitch and left to much space at the back. every single threat from them came from a couter attack. we should have let them control a little a we should have been the ones that were countering.
