This is very interesting yet also rather confusing.
This system, at face value, would seem a solid and reliable method of rating our players' performances over the course of a season.
Dirk Kuyt is top. WTF? He's had a decent season all things considered, but he obviously hasn't been our best player this season.
Xabi is widely considered to have had a poor season, yet he's 2nd. Does that mean that, even when well below-par, Alonso is still a mightily important cog in our machine? Or does it mean the system's ****ed?
Bellamy in third place is even more mystifying than the top two. Again, he's had his moments and, in the immediate aftermath of his court case being concluded, he put in some very good performances. Either side of that time, however, he's been ****.
I think most supporters would agree that our best three players this season have been Finnan, Agger and Carragher, yet they languish in mid-division.
What do we reckon?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I suppose the only was of doing it proper is to do a points rating system for each player after each game, but it's wether people could be arsed.
I'll guarantee Cara would get 8 or 9 nearly every game if doing it that way whereas a bellamy could probably range anywhere from 4-9.
That would probably be the most accurate way, but like i said depends on if ppl can be bothered
