why do so many people seem to be taken in with this Finnan stuff, he was absolute gash yesterday as far as i'm concerned.

finnan has been below par all season but who do you replace him with someone mentioned after the chelsea game about how long it takes him to take a throw in or put a cross over and he was at it again on saturday in injury time took him ages to take the throw anyway saturdays mom jar but that isn`t saying much

I really don't see how JAR could get votes for Saturday. He was well out of position for their goal causing Hyypia to have to try and cover for him leaving room at the far post.

For me the best of a bad display was Garcia, sparked us in to life when he came on.

Liverpool were mostly bloody awful on Saturday. If I was to pick a Liverpool player as man of the match it would be Riise for his performance in the second half. If I was to single out a single Liverpool player for a special mention it would be Pennant for being utter ****.

If you really want a man of the match you should choose either Khizanishvili or Freidl.
