I thought Crouch and Gerrard were good.I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you Morph, he msut be doing something right.
I think his season has been characterised by not wanting to make a mistake rather than playing his own game. I belive that he is so anxious to stay and make a mark at Liverpool that he is frozen in the headllights. Raf has said he needs to be more selfish and I agree. On staurday he got past his man and should have had a shot, insteda he lays it off and the move comes to nothing.
I didn't really want him to come to Liverpool, but having seen him play I beieve he can make it when he plays with more self confidence. No matter how far back you seem, when you're blessed with class, anything is possible. Chris Bascombe Sep 21 2006

Maccabi Haifa - Home - CLQ...........Man of the Match........5 points
West Ham Utd - Home - PL.............Third.........................1 point
Galatasaray - Home - CL................Third.........................1 point
Reading - Home - CC.....................Man of the Match........5 points
Total 12 points, with 2 MOM performances. Seems to like to play at home.
He doesn't get a lot of games to be fair, but he tends to play well when he gets his chance.

Sympathy vote. People want him to succeed (contrary to the opinion of some I might add). They also have low expectations right now so when he does something OK he's lionized..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
