I'm dying to give it to Mascherano. All things considered, this was a fine debut and he grew into the game. He GOBBLED up every second ball, put in some great crunching tackles and his passing was excellent.
Pennant, too, had a very impressive game.

Stevie on the other hand disapointed me with his "easy fall" for the first penalty (though I think the referee should give a penalty for that kick on Crouchy).
