Having thought about it, will say Kuyt, because as good as Pennant was in the 2nd half, Kuyt produced the goods in the whole match, and played a hand in two goals and scored his own.

I actually thought Kuyt was invisible in the first half and couldn't get into the game at all. Naturally he was always working hard, as ever, but he offered no threat whatsoever.

Came alive in the 2nd half and it was a great performance.

I want him to score more goals though.

here here, but i think it's going to be his style now to be the supporting striker, providing a silly number of assists for the front man and maybe not getting as high up the scoring charts as he did in Holland.

A tough one, lots of contenders, but Kuyt. Thought Finnan, Stevie G, Crouch and Carra had excellent games. Hyypia played well, and even Pennant played some nice football. Great win - really chuffed.
