For what it's worth I agree. We've played two up front virtually all season, in all the big games, so why bother going back to one up? Especially Kuyt on his own? And Gerrard isn't a forward. Has he ever had a good game in that role "between the lines"?

agreed, thought Xabi was pretty decent, though got an unfair slating. Mascher kept Kaka in his pocket all night. It was only when he was off that Kaka did anything of note.

Perhaps mate, but I just remember him too often looking to play the long diagonal ball and going into a couple of challenges somewhat half-heartedly which he quite frankly deserves to be shot for.

Wondered where this had gone. Kuyt worked his testicles off, but just shaded for me by Mascherano. I thought he owned the best player in the world at times.
