To go above the BS & the arse would just be fantastic (it's all relative of course, I would much prefer to be top!), so for this season it will have to be one small step at a time.

as long as we win and the top 2 lose i'll be happy. and arsenal to drop a couple more points would be useful.

the rest can feck off as they have no bearing on us in the long term. getting into 3rd now is of little consequence for me.

Yes but the confidence that will spread through the team by getting ourselves to third and will keep us there so the quicker we get there the better. This is why teams like Pompey and Bolton are maintaining their position up there. You watch if they get a couple of poor results they will start to fall, but we need to be getting there ourselves and not bank on them falling.
