Thanjk you.

What worries me is that he may be prepared to do things in the pursuit of profit that we would consider to be NOT the Liverpool way, and that if/when he sells us on his only interest may be getting the best price.
I am assuming that the 250 million is the amount that he will be giving David Moores for his shares, so the stuff that you are talking about has absolutely no bearing.
Because once he has control of the club, which he will do if he gives David Moores 250 million for his 51% stake in the club, he will bring his own money to the table.
If someone pays David Moores 500 million for the club, it will be the same situation, the takeover money itself goes into David Moores bank account, not into the club, as some are implying.

Hope that isn't the case but I can see ticket prices getting higher whatever happens.
my source an ex player has told me the deal has been done and will be made public at the next shareholders meeting in december.
Alls I can say is we are ALLEGEDLY linked to a famous Basketball playing team
they have a very catchy tune and it is often whistled gleefully.
The certain "globetrotting" team are owned by a multi millionaire from the usa
I believe the sum was around £250 million
I believe the person who told me and will be talking to him later,Dont slate me for giving you all a snippit of real information, I am only passing on the information I recieved earlier today, and finally dont ask me to reveal the persons name.
If this is not the real deal, I will be aware of the consequences and will change my name to paul cooper 2
I hope you are all now in the picture, I personally, would have waited for a better price, but Mr Moores holds the reins and he has done whatever, was the best for himself..................
and I hope the future of LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB.

That is a real worry, however if this is indeed true, and Moores loves the club as much as he would like us to think he does, there will most definitely be a clause in the contract that prevents him from doing this, or certain actions etc will arise.
That said, anybody with a majority shareholding could probably do as they please......

Like what?
We're no different from any other club in the way the club markets the brand of LFC. We still try to sell replica shirts to anyone who'll take them, we still do shirt sponsorship deals, etc.
I think the Liverpool way is to act with class, treat others with respect, unlike a certain other club in West London since a Russian took over. I would hate it if our club ever behaved like that but I'm certain it won't. Our fans wouldn't allow it.
The guy could own us. If so he can do more or less what he likes. There is every chance that his actions could impinge on the club culture that currently exists in some way. There are a million and one things he could do to maximise profit at the expense of our identity. After all he only cares about our identity so far as maintaining it makes us profitable, doesn't he?
A privatly registered biz jet left Liverpool Sunday morning headed back to Dubai. No clue who was on board , but the aircraft made a non standard departure from runway 27 . According to local plane spotters this was to enable to the plane to fly over Anfield.
