my source an ex player has told me the deal has been done and will be made public at the next shareholders meeting in december.

Alls I can say is we are ALLEGEDLY linked to a famous Basketball playing team

The certain "globetrotting" team are owned by a multi millionaire from the usa

I believe the sum was around £250 million

Effectively all this "inside info" amounts to is a rehash of last weeks news and a predicition that he'll be announced as our new majority shareholder in December.

Incidentally, it won't change a whole lot if this is exactly what happens.

Gillett who we've been linked heavily with in the press for a number of weeks used to own the Harlem Globetrotters from 67 to 76. In the 60s he was part owner of the Miami Dolphins and currently owns the Montreal Canadiens NHL team (as well as his other business interests). Cheers mate, been here a while just never got around to posting much.

It seems that nobody knows how much this bloke has got, but I am sure Moores wouldn't sell to someone who wasn't in a better financial position than himself.

Also if he does indeed accept 250 million, than it is a lot lower than he originally wanted apparently, this means the invester has saved 50 million, that he can put into the club, rather than Mr.Moores pocket.

I don't see how Moore's shares can be worth 250mil.

Liverpool shares sell for between £3800 to £4200 @ 250mil Moores is valuing his shareholding at approx £14,000 a share, does not make sense.

Can ayone explain?
