How many shares do Moores have??? Wikipedia says 178,500, but I am pretty sure that is too many. I think it is probably meant to read 17,850, but I am not sure.

Not sure about the valuation, maybe the offer includes the buying of some other shares. I seem to re-call their were some unissued shares as well???

I have little knowledge about the shares or the ins and outs of an offer. Was just giving my take earlier, that if an offer was made, it would concern Moores' shares and nothing other than that, none of the money from the 250 million would be going into the club, as far as I understand.

Yes I'm quite sure thats wrong otherwise his shares would be worth about 700 million, meaning the club would be worth about 1.4 billion, which would be good like, but wrong.

With the lack of an AGM announcment I think it'll be quite some time before any stories about investment are confirmed. As I've said before I don't think there will be investment at this time in 2 years never mind in 2 months.

          Exactly

No Code 2.10 announcement no indication from a buyer that they even intend to bid

            There's 50,000 shares - 35,000 issued and 15,000 unissued.
If I remember rightly , of the issued shares Moores has 51% , Granada 10% and Morgan 6%

I thought Moores only had a majority because the Granada shares were kind of held in proxy for him.

Yep, we were looking for 6k/share or $210M. If he is playing $250M perhaps he's just a nice man We could do with one of them.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
