That'll be it, the mail reporter will have seen it on the boards somewhere and not researched it properly, and just taken it as gospel seeing as the dates are very similar

What are you laughing at. The report that appeared on the official site today was the one from last season. It was taken down straight away. Soon after, the story appeared on a few forum sites and then in the Daily Mail.

I've trawled over 10 official news sites and not one has picked up on this story yet. The Daily Mail story could be just lazy journalism.

I'm pretty sure he's laughing at the way the Mail haven't done their research, but I'm sure he'll confirm this.

Does anyone feel Agger will play there (if the story IS true), he seems to be perfect for the holding midfield position or will it be Carragher/Guthrie.
