I'm inclined to think it's true tbh

Carragher or Agger in midfield if it is? Although Carra has played there before I'd go for Agger because he's a better passer of the ball, and Carra and Hyypia have more of a partnership going than Agger and Hyypia. 5 at the back again with Agger pressed forwards when we have the ball? With Rafa, who knows?!

Yep deffo agree with ye there Bob.

It makes the most sense, He'd be a good holding MF IMO and as we well know he can also march forward and shoot from distance.

If Bolo is genuinely injured then it would be Agger alonside SG for me

          If Bolo injured:
          Reina,
          Finnan, Agger, Carra, Riise
          Pennant, Gerrard, Hobbs, Garcia,
          Kuyt, Crouch.

Subs: Dudek, Hyypia, Palletta, Fowler, Bellamy/El Zhar

May seem odd to leave Sami on the bench but I think he'lll be needed more on Saturday.

Portsmouth also have a few injuries of their own.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

We're absolutely stretched to the limit now. Not only is Zenden sh!te but he's injury prone as well.

JAR has played in the middle a couple of times for Norway, so this might happend.
He`s done OK while at CM, but I have my doubts about his positioning.

Maybe let Guthrie get a chance?

JAR is the only left-sided player we have left though. Remember our left side is decimated too Warnock, Fabio, Kewell, SpeedyG are all injured.

Id consider playing with 5 midfielders and with Garcia playing as the lead attacking player ahead of SG and an other player, preferably Agger, do you know who else could play in midfield too, as he seems to have no problems coming deep and finding passes and is strong physically, Kuyt, although i'd be amazed if Rafa played him that deep, an advanced midfield role maybe?.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think that Paletta might be another option in DM. Not really a fan of playing CB's their to be honest but when he came I remember people were talking about how he had played that position for the Argentinian U20's. I would much rather have an established partnership at the back (I think our best is currently Agger and Carragher).

Peltier or Guthrie in the middle, with JAR on left mid, tucking in when defending to help out.
Agger or Carra at left back then.

Why can't Peltier get a game in the centre? He's big, strong and tidy in possession.

I'm with you Cacodemon (oh for the Doom days). He's 20 now so he should be ready. He's been given a new contract recently, so Rafa obviously has high hopes for him.
