    Holding midfielder

If you had a choice between Carra and Agger, who would you choose?

Agger is more comfortable on the ball, but Carra has experience in that role.

At first I was leaning towards Agger, but now I think Carra is probably better suited. I also think it would give Agger the freedom to come out of Defence more, because he knows Carra will provide the necessary protection.

If Zenden is defo out on the Portsmouth game, I'd give Peltier a game in the centre.

Me too. We're just starting to put together a string of clean sheets. I wouldn't want to sacrafice that.

Peltier is a natural holding midfielder and he's looked ok in the CC matches.

It's an ideal chance to show us what he can do - he'll have Gerrard alongside him, a defence that is showing signs of cohesion again, and in front of the home fans - if he doesn't get a chance now, he probably never will.

I would rather keep the same players in defence too, for much the same reason.

Does anyone who watches the reserves know how strong Peltier is and how disciplined he is. Playing in there with Gerrad it is key that whoever fills in reads the game well and is willing to keep their deep lying position for most of the game.

Personally I think Paletta is the man but I would like to see Peltier given a chance if he is well suited to the role.
