    Steve's been investing elsewhere

Mr Morgan will also pay Miss Hill an index-linked sum of £60,000 a year. With the £12,000 a year she receives from the millionaire father of her eight-year-old daughter, it gives her an annual income of £72,000, with child benefits on top.

Each father is paying the school costs of his respective children.

Mr Morgan also has to pay up to £25,000 for a car for Miss Hill, and replace it every five years.

The earlier judge also included a lump sum of £100,000, but this has been reduced to £50,000.

While I agree she should have enough money to take care of the child, I find it ludicrous the amounts being bandied about there. All this style she's accustomed to lark is a load of crap, same with that one legged bint as well, reckoned she was entitled to around 150mil just so she could get by. But I don't like the look of this Morgan fella anyway, so bollocks to him.

The judge accepted the mother's case that the growing family badly needed a property in the country with paddocks and stables to enable them to pursue their passion for horse riding.

        That is classic.
        Oh I don't know.

The whole idea of a pre-nup is wrong to me, there must be some trust issues if you want one, which might suggest it's not really the time to be getting married in the first place.

Isnt that an American thing. Don't think there is such thing as a pre-nup in the UK.

All these cases should be simple. Wealth at end of relationship minus wealth at start times 50% equals settlement.

No wench is gonna run away with my half my money (the little of it that there is). Most of the married men (of 20+ years) that i know have their own money hidden away anyway. Which i was a bit shocked to hear, but i can see their point.

I suppose you're right with the trust issue though. Meh, it was just a throwaway comment.

From everything I've seen the divorce courts are hopelessly biased against husbands\fathers. Look at poor old Ray Parlour FFS! 70% of his income for life somehow goes his ex wifes way, despite (i think) her cheating on him to end the marriage!
