cisse had the worst ball control i'd ever seen on a liverpool player. But we do need a DECENT pacy striker to partner dirk up front.

i won't put up a fight on pennant he's been utter **** we all know that, but garcia in the last two seasons and crouch last year and this year have contributed so much more to the team than cisse ever did, he was rubbish for us, don't care about the 19 goals, he was painfull to watch...

Revisionism. Cisse did not take on players, he kicked the ball past them and then ran really really fast. Usually the ball had gone in to touch by the time he got there though.

He did run fast a really lot though, usually 'cos his first touch was so bad that the ball bounced off of him.

Pennant is no superstar but at least he does:

Track back
Put in a decent cross.
Has a nice pass on him.

And he doesn't:

Upset team morale by screaming and scowling at everyone.
Stand around looking pissed off and not pariticpating in the game due to some percieved wrong.

Cisse's time has come and gone. Move on. For a change try and think of something to do to help JP rather than drag him down. If the fans (those on the boards as well) get on his back then it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'm no Cisse fan, but as far as actual output is concerned, Pennant isnt fit to lace Cisse's boots.
