      I guess Neil and maybe some loan signing from Spain that Rafa knows about and we dont maybe to cover midfield.

              Ideally a striker or bring back Pongo, a right winger (Alves or SWP) and cover for centre midfield.
              Realistically I'd be surprised if we signed more than one player or any big names.

                  I don't think that Rafa want him before 2008 anyway. He is injured and will need to prove that he is fit again and hasn't lost to much pace after his injuries.

                    He's ****ed now - Owen's pace is gone and thats all he is about - I look at fowler now and think he shouldn't have come back - he's destroying my memories of him as an anfield legend - its sad to see him barely make it around the pitch - he's not even getting a sniff.

                      Realistically, I don't see us singing anyone significant, however, investment could change that. But that story is the same every year aroung AGM times, so I wouldnt hold my breath.

                      Neill could be one, but Rafa did sign that young Argie, who can play fullback on both flanks I think? Maybe we don't want Neill anyway?

                      Talks about a new right winger and a striker are a bit over the top I feel.
                      I would like us to get some one that could bring some creativivty and someone who is a poacher, but that seems more like a summer job. Alves would be nice, as would Huntelaar...
