The can we go third this week thread.

No but we can go fourth, this week we need:

Arsenal to draw or lose v Spurs
    Reading to beat Bolton
Portsmouth to lose/draw/win v Villa (a draw is best in the long run)
Liverpool to beat Wigan (of course)
Don't really see either of the top two happening, maybe Arsenal to draw, but thats about it.

Don't think we'll beat Wigan tbh. A draw written all over it.

          They could all easily happen.

Arsenal are on a losing run and have a crucial CL to follow.
Reading at home arent pushovers and unless i'm mistaken, ANY result in the Pompey game will see us leapfrog one them or Villa.

The one which might feck us up is our own game

I would be happy with a goal for a change away from home.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Wigan are on a good run apart from last weeks defeat at Spurs. I think the points will be shared.

                0-0 then?

I'm expecting 1-1. Although some **** part of me is actually believing 2-2 to be the real score.

Ok, just a quick edit here... I've seen people swearing left right and centre on here, which is all well and good. But when I type in sp-az it gets censored? Hows that work.

That's a good start, and I would prefer adding another clean sheet.

Indeed - a 0-0 draw would be OK but at least a goal that would give us a chance of all 3 points, unless of course, we're 3 down by that time...

Another away defeat doesn't bear thinking about...
