    Bellamy's goals today

Only seen them briefly via a webstream, but they both looked like superbly composed finishes.

Looks a lot happier now after that daft court case is over and his confidence will have been boosted immensely after today.

How many could he realistically score this season, in all comps?

Is fifteen a fair target for him?

Dunno how many he`ll score but if he plays like that 2 or 3 games out of 5 it will be a lot, and I will be a happy man. Never thought he had it in him and I am delighted he has made the first installment on proving me wrong

Only 6 more to go before he beats anfieldanfield's prediction!

I think he'll really push on from this.

Both goals was very good and composed finishes and the pass to Kuyt was another good move from him.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He was excellent today.Watched the game in full and he was everywhere. His movement was great,he stretched their defence very well and made space for others.Finishes were class. His pace and movement caused no end of trouble.Still moans far too much though and could've seen red for a kick at their captain.

How calm was Kuyt's finish? Excellent build up play.

Well done Bellers. First one was class (reminded me of Mikey's against the Barthez) and the second was very well taken - close to the keepers body.

Kuyts was a good finish too, never panicked, thought he hit it slightly wider than he planned to but it went in so all good.Good goal all round and excellent play from Bellamy to find him.

Good job too or he would have hit the covering defender!

I like to see some passion.
You can tell it is not just a show.
He has this air of bloody-mindedness about him.
He is not being defeatist, he is a fighter.

I sincerely hope and belive this might be the start of a good run for him.

Kuyt and Bellamy need to start together....we had a good patch earlier in the season when they played together, and by all accounts linked up well again yesterday. Crouchie coming off the bench isnt a bad thing either....he would be a big handfull for weary defenders coming on fresh late in a a game.

Kuyt and Crouch just dont offer enough speed and movement together. slow build up play is the name of the game when they are both invloved.

Glad we won, even if we didnt deserve a 4-0, it will instill alot of confidence in the lads, especially Bellers.

Yup, I think Kuyt and a firing-on-all-cylinders Bellend is def our best partnership at the moment
