Are match of the day taking the piss? I can't remember we had highlights that weren't the shortest ones they have Manure, Arse and Chavs are the main highlights every week, they don't even show them on the medium ones always the extended it takes the piss.

I turned match of the day on tonight and quickly switched over to football first on sky when I realised that the scum were up first. I knew at that point that they'd only show our goals. I hate that **** Lineker aswell and can't stand listening to him creaming over the mancs.

Would be interesting to see if Sky could put together some figs from sky+ users as to what shows have most fast forward etc. MOTD would surely be one of them.

I didn't realise anyone still bothered with Match of the Day. It's stuck in a time-warp. I half expect Jimmy Hill to pop up somewhere. It's quite unwatchable these days. Stick to Football First on Sky Sports if you want to see decent highlights. For a better, lighter version of the stodgy MOTD watch Goals on Sunday on Sky Sports. Most people have cable or satellite these days so it's not difficult to avoid MOTD - it's not the only available option and hasn't been for years

Don't watch MOTD as football first has made it obsolete! You get a better idea as to how much of the game we had & its better coverage! MOTD always put us on last FFS & then show about 30 seconds worth of highlights! Crap & outdated!

To be honest though this season United have played some excellent stuff and in the last few years Chelsea have looked invincible at times. I'm not an enormous Lawro fan but he gets way to much stick. He seems honest enough and sometimes you just have to accept that teams we hate if viewed objectively are actuallt pretty good at the game.

They generally sort of do it by position in the table - so if we were 1st or 2nd we would be one of the main matches each week, but as yet, we're not. Match Choice for me everytime anyway - might watch MOTD on Sunday morning when I'm up with the wee-uns, but I rarely watch it on Saturdays.

I like to see the analysis of our games, whether it's pointing out what is good or bad. It's just me, I like watching it. Hell, even if it's Andy (*****) Gray on his Last Word thing, I like to watch what they have to say about us.

But for the last four or five weeks I've had to fast wind my Sky+ past the general wankathon over Utd and Chelsea to find that we're on MOTD last with little or nothing to say about our game. Grrrr!

To be fair we have hardly been responcible for much entertaining fair in the last few weeks. If we go on a good run and score goals like we did against Wigan we will end up getting more coverage.
