      ****ing terrible draw for us.
Say what you want about Arsenal but they can rip ANY team apart on
      their day.
Could have been better, could have been alot better.

We are the holders remember. We are at home. We are Liverpool.

That's lovely Al, it really is.

Doesn't change the fact it's an exceptionally difficult draw and one we'll be luck to progress in.

Why would we be lucky to progress? We're a better team than Arsenal and we're at home ffs!

They've got the tougher draw than we have.

Why luck? We have an excellent home record and an excellent record at home against Arsenal in the cup. You make your own luck. You can give up now but I'd rather be optimistic and wait for the KO before giving up.

So you'll be giving up at kickoff?

                      No, we're not.

That's one big positive however Arsenal are not a team you want to
be playing in a knock out situation, bad feeling about it.
                        When is the tie anyway?

                          You know what I mean

I'm surprised at the downbeat posts concerning the draw. I'd be far more worried about some away game to a non league side who will kick lumps out of us and play out of their skin.

I wouldnt say that i'd be more worried about such an away tie, but i know what you mean.

Course we can beat Arsenal at Anfield, and it'll be a good contest.

Still think that, out of what we could've got, that's a very poor outcome for both us and Arsenal.

Come on people - pick your heads up. We've had our ****e spell for this season now, and at home we've managed a win in almost every game. Would you have been as scared if we'd drawn the blue****e at home?

I'm as down as everyone else that we've screwed up our chances of winning the league, barring a collapse by the top two, but I'll be happy enough if we pick some silverware up to keep us going.

We're well capable of beating Arsenal at home. Starting in a fortnight.
