It's not that simple.

I would rotate them, or play them all together, dependent on opposition and if we are away/in Europe.

We dont just play one system (442) under Rafa.
As for away, I would prefer a 4 2 3 1 - with Gerrard as one of the 3 attacking midfielders and Alonso and Sissoko behind them.
