I'm fairly reassured by the fact that we're led to believe they are going to:

1)Wipe out our accumulated long term debt
      2) Build us a stadium

These 2 things alone give me a sense of reassurance. We didn't accumulate that debt overnight and we've been trying for a new stadium for what, 7 years or something. So what if they do get overthrown, we'll be a more attractive club then than we are now in the eyes of investors.

        I'll be really happy if they bring us 19, 6, 8, 8.

i was more asking whether the new rulers of Dubai would de facto become the new owners of Liverpool Football Club.

Right. Well it's been said that Dubai isn't a country and it doesn't really have a government (as far as my limited knowledge is aware). It has a royal family doesn't it? So DIC is the investment arm of the royal family, so even if that's overthrown in terms of being the head of 'state' doesn't mean the investment arm defaults to the new head of 'state'.

That's my take but feel free to rip that theory apart

The royal family are the rulers of the UAE not Dubai.

OK but Dubai has a Royal Family which is what I said (if you really want to get into a "Pedantic fight").

Well, sort of, it's an Emirate, although it has a lot less autonomy than Monaco. Several Emirates joined to form what is imaginitively named the United Arab Emirates, and almost all of the power resides with the whole rather than the individual Emirates as I understand it.

They might build a new tourist destination in Dubai - Liverpool Land, or even, Liverpool Island.
                              Oh I don't know.
