Are we really going to get the mega bucks like chelsea?

I am just wondering as we seem to be getting carried away, I would be prefectly happy for him to clear the debts get the new stadium and have say 40m a year to spend.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

I don`t think we`ll get Chelski cash, but we`ll get a new stadium.
They`ll want to make money, Roman doesn`t care.

40 million a year is mega-bucks in my opinion.

I don't expect it to be that much, debts cleared, stadium funded, business-like decisions made over transfers. If a player is available who will bring us success then they will provide the funds for it. There will probably be no set budget, just business decisions made based on Rafa's recommendations.

Yes thats what I want, only spend say 20 million or so on someone that is really really worth it.

I think we might see a hefty investment in the team next season to make us capable of challenging for the title and to bring in some big name players to raise our international profile. After that I suspect we will see a decrease to similar levels of player purchasing to United.
