I am just wondering as we seem to be getting carried away, I would be prefectly happy for him to clear the debts get the new stadium and have say 40m a year to spend.

I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

40 million a year is mega-bucks in my opinion.
I don't expect it to be that much, debts cleared, stadium funded, business-like decisions made over transfers. If a player is available who will bring us success then they will provide the funds for it. There will probably be no set budget, just business decisions made based on Rafa's recommendations.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

Yes thats what I want, only spend say 20 million or so on someone that is really really worth it.I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I think we might see a hefty investment in the team next season to make us capable of challenging for the title and to bring in some big name players to raise our international profile. After that I suspect we will see a decrease to similar levels of player purchasing to United.Originally posted by El Diego View PostI am just wondering as we seem to be getting carried away, I would be prefectly happy for him to clear the debts get the new stadium and have say 40m a year to spend."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I'll wait untill this deal is done before I get carried away. I've learned from the past, but I'm hoping...No small toffees for feast tonight
Kopites party with tyrkish delight
José, Sir Alex... London press
All choking on sweet success
Money, not love, is your drive
But tell us...
Can you count to five?
