I have read a couple of match reviews about last nite's game which say that Bellamy basically spat the dummy when he was subbed. Can anybody confirm this? Just when u think he can just settle down and be part of a squad. Why cant he just be happy to be playing at the highest club level?

Didn't see anything myself, but I suggest that, like any other player with a winning mentality, that he was disappointed about being substituted that's all!
You should see Gerrard's face when he's subbed - it's just a natural instinct for any player with ambition and is a winner, inmy opinion.

Nah, that's just Craig Bellamy, and its something we'll grow to love believe it or not. His commitment is total, and now we're starting to see the real Bellers stand up on the pitch we should applaud the fact he desn't like being subbed. There was no falling out, and Rafa will start him at the weekend.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

There was **** all wrong with him. Would people prefer our players laughing and jumping up and down when they get subbed or something?Originally posted by Larakin15 View PostI have read a couple of match reviews about last nite's game which say that Bellamy basically spat the dummy when he was subbed. He looked disappointed which is exactly how I want him to be. He's a moody little ****er just like Gerrard anyway so half the time its just the natural way he is.

Agree with the majority here, that's when he's at his best is when he's fired up and gobbing off all over the place, it's just the nature of the beast.Last edited by lfc4ever; 06-12-06, 09:36 PM.

Load of crap. He had a resigned look on his face but no more. Someone is ****-stirring.Originally posted by Larakin15 View PostI have read a couple of match reviews about last nite's game which say that Bellamy basically spat the dummy when he was subbed. He looked a little cheesed off, but nothing more than that, he certainly didn't make a big show of it. I would read anything into it. He probably just fancied getting a goal and so was a little disapointed to be pulled offOriginally posted by Larakin15 View PostI have read a couple of match reviews about last nite's game which say that Bellamy basically spat the dummy when he was subbed.
