    Marketing - The Old Chestnut!

Oh what we could do with a marketing team such as say the M&S team?

Liverpool roll back the calendar years to win the league

    Dec 7 2006

LIVERPOOL is set to do what they have not done for 16 years, finishing top of the table.

Based on Official Football Calendar sales figures from online retailer Play.com, current Premiership champions Chelsea has traded places with the reds from Merseyside in the battle of merchandise in the run up to Christmas.

Spurs fans won't believe their eyes to see them sitting in a Champions League spot and West Ham do not look like relegation contenders sitting comfortably in 7th.

The relegation scrap does however have some synergy with the real Premiership situation with Fulham, Charlton Athletic, Sheffield United and Blackburn all in the bottom 5, with only newly promoted Reading looking out of place.
