Barton because he is used to the PL. Frings is a very good player and the more complete player of the two but I would still sign Barton before Frings.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Frings is far more disciplined, has better awareness of the game but is less dynamic and strong in the tackle. Frings is a better player but that doesn't necessarily mean he'd be a better signing FOR US. Not that either will ever happen of course.
Barton is a good Premiership midfielder, a course and distance winner, and you could certainly make a case for him being the more attractive proposition to Liverpool.
Wouldn't particularly want us to sign him, although I'd prefer him as the 4th choice to Zenden. Which isn't saying a great deal...Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’Comment
