    Alonso for Vice Captain

I have been really impressed with Alonso's comments in the last couple of weeks in relation to the take over and respecting the hertiage of the club and today about forgetting about champions league and concentrating on the league

I really respect Sami Hyypia a great servant to the club, but Alonso is showing real passion, with his comments, just wish we could see the performances that he gave last year

Isn´t Carragher vice captain? Don´t think he´ll give that up easily.......
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Alonso speaks sense, but our captain and vice-captain are fine.

I think Carragher is and should remain vice-captain.

Is there a word for 2nd vice captain???

No worries at all, I know what you’re getting at. Wasn’t Xabi Real Sociedad captain at 21 or summat daft?

He is a leader and a class act – on and off the pitch.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I believe that he should be third choice captain not vice.
Gerrard then Carragher and finally Alonso. He is a good leader and shows off a good example by scoring from his own half but he is not a regular when Momo gets into the side.
Id rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars

Also Kuyt was captain before. It is good to have leaders in the team.

Momo would make a good captain one day too as would Pepe.
