Rafas interview today

Rafa seemed very 'content' in his weekly pre-match press conference and said some interesting things. The main points I picked up on were:


1. He is monitoring the same transfer targets despite the takeover - Alves in January? (fingers crossed).

2. He has some back-up targets just in case (in case we have more money? Or is that just wishful thinking?)

3. Tradition of LFC is winning - that is what the "new owners" want. By all accounts Maktoum does not do second best.

4. Trust DM and Wallet - enough said.


I feel very optimistic about our future and when this takeover completes there will be very exciting times ahead. I get the feeling Rafa will spend big on the right player but not in the same way as the Chavs.

In the other interview on the offal he definitely implied that he had another list of players in case he got more money So one would assume that discussions along those lines have already occurred.
