Well there has been a lot written lately about our prespective new owner.

If and I say If we didnt win the title next season and the sheikh didnt want to settle for second best and decided to

1 Sack Rafa
2 Appoint Jose Mourinho as our new Manager

How would you react and lastly if Mourinho won us the title in his first season would it justify the decision to appoint him.

The Sheikh's a winner and wont settle for second best IMO

I wouldn't want Rafa sacked as I think he's as good a manager as there is.
however, mourinho is a top class coach as well. People underestimate how good he is because of Chelsea's cash & also because at times he's very arrogant. however, his record at Porto was fantastic, winning the UEFA Cup & CL in successive seasons.

If Rafa was sacked & Mourinho won us the league , then you'd have to say it was the right decision.

To be honest, i'm still reading YOUR last post and trying to make coherent sense out of it....

you said if the Sheik didn't want to settle for second best, I have seen no evidence to suggest that Rafa is the second best manager, if the playing field is fair. And after one season we can't gauge that, so maybe if he did it after 3 seasons of constant investment and no trophies then fair enough, but not before.

But the bottom line being is if Rafa hasnt won the title with resources at his disposal and Mourinho has won it 3 times to the Sheikh he may consider that not to be good enough and would want to get the very best for this club and on winning Titles that would obviously be Mourinho.

Personally for me it would be the death of our great club if he Jose was ever appointed it would go against all the traditions and history of this great club because the man has no class.
