    Likeable Players

Sound blokes(judging by interviews, they way they conduct themselves on/off the pitch etc anyway

    I'd have:

    Gary Speed
    Kolo Toure
    John Riise
    Xabi Alonso
    Dirk Kuyt
    Jamie Carragher
    Ledley King
    Paul Scholes
    Ryan Giggs
    Ole Solsjaer
    Kevin Nolan
    Shay Given
    Petr Cech

Lee Bowyer, John Terry, Wayne Rooney and El Hadji Diouf just
    missed out on my list

Gotta have God in there, cheeky likeable! Docker support, having a dig at Le Saux on the pitch, Derby Day line snorting are all my kind of "one of us" likeable rather than well trained media whores.

Depends what you mean. Likeable to other clubs, people like Carra and God wouldnt be in there, as they're so overt in their love for us, no matter how much of a sound bloke they are, some will never get past that. Same for us and Gary Neville.

Likeable to everyone is a much smaller group, Toure has never seemed particularly likeable to me. Speed I'd agree with, as well as Scholes and Solskjaer. Dont see how anyone can really dislike Xabi, Ledley King I can honestly say I've never even given a second thought to, even forgot he was in that post between reading it and typing this reply!

      I'd add:

Ljungberg - Top quality player who doesnt make a big deal of himself
Makelele - Same despite being a Chav
Scott Parker - Never made a fuss at Chelsea despite being too good for a sub role

      Not sure who else.

Ryan Giggs is my favourite 'big' player (non lfc of course).

He's done the lot - and yet still retains the humility that he needs to keep playing well to be in the team. Always gives good honest interviews.

I agree with that but a lot of LFC fans seem to absolutely despise Giggs? I don’t actively LIKE the bloke, but, along with Scholes, he has my respect.

There are no other vermins I could say the same about.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Damn it, forgot about the big man, yes Crouchy does seem a sound bloke, real down to earth.

When my lad was mascot Crouchy came down the steps with Warnock as they were subs, we collared Warnock for an autograph but Crouchy went to walk straight on, even saying "excuse me please" so I said, "Oi Pete - he wants yours as well", made him smile and he duly obliged!
