Basically the papers have been full of all sorts of ****e, the bottom line is it does look more or less inevitable that DIC will buy into us. I think we can expect a better business sense but not necessarily huge amounts of transfer money to spend, although I shouldn't doubt it will be a little more. Some of the DIC dudes were at the game Saturday. You probably know most of that anyway, you haven't missed much news on this really mate.

cheers mate, bet there was a buzz around the time the news broke? Yea i saw the bloke at the ground they kept zooming in on him but i didn't have a foggy who he was till they said on comms later on. Hope it goes through though, knowing us we will mess it up.

Well it looked more like Gillett for a while until over the course of a few days the newspapers all came out as saying it would be DIC, whereas it had been mixed initially. Rafa and Xabi have both made brief comments on the speculation too if you haven't read them yet you may want to have a search for it.

Oh and there's also a few threads about whether we're selling out in any way or the identity of the club will suffer in any way. The concensus on here does seem to be this is a very good thing. Personally I think DIC are better as investors, but am finding it hard to form any real opinion on how it will affect the club from a non-business point of view.

I read all of Rafa's comments on it but not Xabi's. The Dubai ppl said they won't make a decison until Jan anyways so i will be back for that
