David Villa is Benitez's first choice & number 1 target. - Things are about to change on the Villa front. - A deal would include Luis Garcia + cash going Valencia's way.

There is talk at the Estadio Mestalla that Quique Sánchez Flores is on his way out and will be replaced with Sevillas Juande Ramos. This has lead to speculation that David Villa will be open to a move away from the club as he is very close to Flores.

A very good player. It never fails to amaze me how many people who clearly don't understand football slag Garcia off because he occasionally gives the ball away. Like I said on Saturday - before he scored by the way - he can give you 89 minutes of mediocrity and then a single minute of genius. Which, as he has proved in so many important games, is all you need...

For what it's worth, Garcia is a great little player. We have two match winners in the squad, Garcia and Gerrard. Without Garcia, we'd have ZERO flair, very little creativity and not a single player capable of doing the unexpected.
