We wont be looking for many players in january anyway. Most players who Benitez will be able to target with the amount of capital he will have availble will be cup tied for europe.

"Moores worked for the family company for a while but he never reached a senior position. He then inherited part of the family fortune, including some shares in Liverpool. He is, by his own admission, not a businessman, was always more interested in music and football, and as a chairman is said to be desperately thin-skinned, always worrying what the fans will think. "He can get depressed by two hostile letters in the Liverpool Echo," mused somebody close to him, fondly."
He got that right...

According to Arabian Business Weekly a deal is further of than most seem to thing. the problem is the price Moores has put on the club.
There is also doubt about how much of the club they`ll buy. This comes from Liverpool.no sources in, or around, the club.

So my guess is that only new player we`ll see in january is an aussie.
And maybe Gillette is still in the race.
I'm not too familiar with this site's track record and would appreciate any feed back about it.
How have they done with previous transfers?
Example. How did they go with Rafa's signing? Not too many sites had the scoop on this one. Only a few individuals knew about it ahead of time."For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"

Are you talking about Liverpool.no?
It`s the site for the scandinavian supporters club.
The people who run the site are well connected in LFC, and knows a lot about what`s going on at the club. The thing is they don`t post their info on the site, only what`s allready in the papers.
So you won`t find gossip they have heard there as a separate item, but you`ll find interesting info tied into reports from papers etc.Blank

all the top players would be cup tied for Europe and even if teams were to sell I fear that the Clubs would jack the price up knowing we had a lot of wedge to splash.Originally posted by paulc View Postcheers mate
even if DIC bought us there would be no funds for january and to be honest not sure who we could get in Jan

That is going to happen anyway from now on. It will be interesting to see if Rafa persists with his "That's the highest I will go" attitudeOriginally posted by Parm View PostI fear that the Clubs would jack the price up knowing we had a lot of wedge to splash."For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"

What happened to good old fashioned transfer requests from the player, oh yeh, they don't get a slice of the cake if they ask do they?, still, I suppose it's a way of the bigger clubs paying their way if they are screwed over by transfer fees by those not so well off.Originally posted by SouthAfricaRed View PostThat is going to happen anyway from now on.
