    Lupoli?

Arturo Lupoli has claimed Liverpool are monitoring his progress but the Arsenal starlet believes it is more likely he will quit England for a return to Italy in the summer.

The Italy Under 21 international has a contract at Emirates Stadium that expires in June but as yet, the club have yet to engage in talks with regards an extension.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of the diminutive forward, who has spent this season on loan at Derby, but Lupoli admits he is seeking assurances before he makes any kind of commitment.

Willing to accept that at present there is no room for him at Arsenal, Lupoli is weighing up a return to his homeland, whilst at the same time confident there is interest in his services from both England and Spain.

"The contract with Arsenal expires in June and there isn't an agreement for the renewal," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"To remain I want guarantees, and I'm not referring to financial matters.

"I've accepted the loan to Derby because I know there is not space at Arsenal.

"Should it be up to me at this point, I'd like to come back to Italy. In England I've had two important years, it's been really constructive.

"Offers? Valencia and Liverpool have followed me. In Italy there are Fiorentina, Udinese and Napoli."

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Coverage of the Championship is quite limited here, but I saw him in a game at Plymouth earlier this season as well as in a few highlights and he looks quite a good prospect.

Whether he could make the step up though is another matter

            Could he replace Fowler?
I have no idea what kind of player he is or if he`s any good.
It doesn`t sound good if the Arse lets him go, but if Valencia is interested he can`t be that bad.
In the end it`s probably just using us to get a new/better contract.

My Derby mate says he’s a “pure goalscorer”, an instinctive sort of penalty box striker.

Based on that very brief assessment, he sounds like a Fowler sort – and with Robbie virtually at the end of the road…why not?!

                Hmmm....

Potentially another Arsenal reject, a la Pennant and Upson. If Wenger doesn't him, I'm not sure we should either.
                Oh I don't know.

From what I've seen he's a clever player and a smart finisher. I think Wenger will want to hold on to him if he can tbh.
