    Would be gutted though.

How about the current Seville coach Juande Ramos? Keeps the Spanish tilt at Anfield and he seems to be developing into a great coach.

          Martin O'Neill for me.

It could be argued that he has never had big money to spend, but I would argue that Celtic and Rangers are the equivalent of Chelsea in Scotland, and he just blew the others away up there. If he went to Rangers instead of Celtic, I would imagine their circumstances would be reversed now.
          Oh I don't know.

Hiddink is the ONLY candidate for me.

Hiddink doesn't seem to hang araound anywhere. A season, here, a World Cup there. I would prefer someone 100% commited (no national teams on the side), in for the long haul.
                Oh I don't know.

                  Thomas Schaaf, Werder Bremens manager.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

None of those clubs were Liverpool.

If it happened first I'd cry and then I think we should go for O'Neill, Capello or Hiddink.

                              Id go for him too.
If not O'Neill i'd have to go for Sevilla's manager, whom word has it wants to manage in the Premier League next season.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
