micah richards-is he really that good

every post ive seen seems to think young richards is an absolute must when benitez goes on the proverbial spending spree. haven only seen him play once (youth cup final second leg) i can honestly say i havnt a clue that he'd be woth the cash he's been mentioned with-£20 mill.
So is he really that good

    I think so.

Or rather, I think he will be.

Oh yes, without a doubt, there are some that have it from the word go, there are some that have the potential even at a late stage.

Richards has it now, and can only get better.

Richards does seem to be an excellent player. Easily prefer Alves though.

He does look like he will become a very good player. In the few games I've seen him in, he has never looked like he doesn't belong at the top level, but the figure you've said is being bandied about for him - £20M - is ridiculous.

This is only his second professional season - for that sort of money I would want someone who was the finished article, not someone who has the potential to be that.

              Two words. Football Manager.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue

              Mine angry and defrauded young?

Richards, Agger and Ramos are the three best young European defenders IMO.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Richards is a fcuking beast of a lad, i'd be over the moon if we somehow managed to sign him.

I have seen him play many times. He is best on the right but Capello use him as a central defender for some reason.

Every time I watch him play he gets sent off.

Never been impressed with Ramos. Positionally he looks naive. Massively over-hyped.
