I feel a bit sorry for him, but only because of the incredible turnaround of fortunes he experienced last season. He went from being a nothing striker at a relegated club to LFC's no.1 striker, playing in the Champions League. He went on to win plaudits in an England shirt and even kickstarted a bit of a national craze. But now he's on a road back to where he started - anonymity. Can't be easy that, can it?

As far as the team goes though... nah. He's not good enough.

That's it. He'll get plenty of chances before the season is over.

I think it's more of Rafa giving more chances to Kuyt and Bellamy to shine than anything to do with Crouch's form. Rafa has seen what Crouch can do, since the second half of last season. He is the type of manager who perseveres with those not in form, and since Kuyt hasn't exactly been banging in the goals, it is little wonder that he's getting into the side more than Crouch.

Sounds queer, but it is reverse psychology, Rafa-style.

Dirk %& Bellers are the first choice for me.
          Crouch #3 and Robbie #4.
I just feel that when we play with Crouch up front - we become predictable. That's not his fault though - it's the players around him.

It's a squad game. It's nothing to do with Rafa "benching" him for this reason or that. He has a vital role to play. The days of strikers playing every game were over a long time ago

The sooner we sell Crouch the better. That's how I always felt about him. Hell, I felt that way about him before we bought him.
