OK I can't speak/write for Shaggy but:
I thought shaggy's point was that LFC pay their wages and they should be prepared to give interviews about their work for LFC ; but LFC don't own their private lives and if they want to keep that personal then I think that's refreshing. If you read the whole interview he answers some work related questions quite comprehensively.

The point I was making was it seems that players would rather give a big interview to some ****ing rag for $$$$ rather than do a decent interview for their club for nothing even though it is the club that pays their wages.
