I think Uefa should allow those who go out in the last 16 entry into the Uefa cup rather than those finishing 3rd in the group. Finishing 3rd is no achievement, yet topping your group is and then you face Barca-****ing-lona and are in all probability going to be knocked out of Europe when teams like Shaktar have the chance to lift a trophy.

I've already been looking at flights mate. It's going to be a great trip, but i also want us to win, which could be a sticking point.

correct , we could just as easily get knocked out by some dog-**** team like
benfica ,so we may as well give our all against the mutts nuts and see how we get on. anfield is living on borrowed time as it is -there wont be too many more nights like barca at home to savour. the fear of failure should never take the place of enjoyment .

what can you do? to win the CL you have to pla the top teams at some point. This time last year we were all laughing when we drew Benfica. I think the draw works in our favoiur as all the pressure will be on Barca and we can just do a hit and run on them.
