It really depends on how long you followed Liverpool. If you have been a fan for a long time there is only one answer and that is:
Chelsea!
Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever The Scum! EVER!
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

How can one be so sure of that?Originally posted by AFII View PostWe will win the league next season anyway so there isn't any chance that they will catch us.
IF anything I think it could take a further year again, as there will be more squad strengthening which could mean another slow start, which is a bit of a trade mark of Rafa now. PErsonally, I think continuity within the squad is key to our success under Rafa. But with all this new money coming in surely we have to expect some serious spending by Rafa? Right?.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

grow up. the typical Utd fan will claim that we've never even won the premiership, whilst i've heard similar toss from LFC fans going on about how many times Utd won the 1st division.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostCarheex, have you ever been to Old Trafford to watch us play?
Can you remember the 90's when demento was winning the premiership over and over again?
Do you realise how much they despise us?
Would you like it if United caught up with us with respect to the number of league titles we've both won?
Do you live in London and are hence surrounded by horrible Chav fans?
From a football point of view, seeing titles/trophies being bought is the worst thing that can possibly happen in the game. I hate Utd as much as the next man but am mature enough to give credit/respect where it's due.

Chelsea to win it, very very begrudgingly
I think Man USA to win would be better for English football, and much as I despise the Ruskies and want them to fail, it isn't physically possible for me to want the scum to win. I just tried it, didn't work
And AF, I live in London
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I don't see how my response earned your 'grow up' rebuke :whatever:Originally posted by carheex View Postgrow up. the typical Utd fan will claim that we've never even won the premiership, whilst i've heard similar toss from LFC fans going on about how many times Utd won the 1st division.

Are you trying to tell me that United haven't bought or attempted to 'buy' trophies?
Ferdinand - 30 million quid
Rooney - 31 million quid
Veron - 24 million quid
Carrick - 18 million quid
Ronaldo (17 yr old) - was it 12 million quid?
Would you like me to continue?

Chavski for me (spit), let them buy one more then hope they implode and someohow get relegated for money laundering, radiation poisoning or anything else. No way could I put up with that red faced cnut at mount doom lifting another prem trophy or for the fooking chuckle brother lifting it as captain.“Me having no education. I had to use my brains.”
