We are on the same page on that point mate, by all means argue the post, but leave the personalities & name calling out of it.

He was short of confidence earlier in the season, he had that court case hanging over him and he was getting used to playing with world class
players like Gerrad, Alonso, Finnan etc, he's looking strong, sharp and fired
up for it now, not that he wasn't all along but his confidence is sky high at the minute.

Keep it going Craig lad, love to see him do well, he's a red through and through.

            Fingers crossed though, eh ?
I agree it's far from over, but the key thing is he's really settled now which was always half the battle. You can see the nerves have largely gone, and he's starting to be more confident with the ball at his feet, taking players on.

Carheex - who said Bellamy for mom then? I think people are just praising a new player for finding his feet and showing us why at £6m he's a bargain. Don't see what's wrong with that. It's hardly kneejerk, he's generally been much better for us since he scored his brace.

I think that fact that both of them have started to find their feet at the same time has been connected to be honest. Bellamy seems to offer Pennant the alternative he needs to trying to take people on down the line and they appear to have a goo relationship on the pitch.

I thought Bellamy was easily our best attacking player today with regards to creating goalscoring chances...looked like he had his head up to me.

Controversialy, I've always thought Bellamy would be a good signing and he will definitely score those extra 6 goals to prove AA wrong.

Bellamy needs to be a bit more greedy. He should stop always looking to provide it for Kuyt and just hit the ball more often

He has done two good matches against two very poor teams.

I will judge him when he plays like this against a good defence. Charltons defence was rubbish yesterday. Bellamy even missed from a yard again.

He played good but if he plays like this against better teams then he is good enough to stay. We need strikers who can decide games against Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

seriously, i'm all for people having their own opinions, but that is the biggest load of wank i've ever read.

he is very unselfish for a striker, and rarely shoots at goal when he probably should, instead he looks for a pass.

are you here on a windup?

he could score a hat trick against the mancs, arsenal and chelsea and you'd still be trying to spiderman michael owen.

No. I said that he played good but to judge him against a poor team like Charlton isn't fair. Even Cisse and Baros played good games against weak teams.

Bellamy was looking sharp all game, showed good awareness, made all the right runs off the ball, and frightened the opposition with the ball at his feet. We don't have any other striker that does that against anyone on our books, so we should be pretty flamin happy about it.

If we'd just signed Aguero/Owen/Huntelaar and he'd played like that in his first few games albeit against **** teams you couldn't have jizzed yourself quick enough.

how many times have you seen Gerrard put a man of the match performance in against Mancs, Chelsea and Arsenal in the league?
