      I've seen him in a couple of games now and am not totally sure about him. He did score in both those games though.

      The white Viera? Don't think so, in the two games i saw, he spent most of his time playing in between the lines. Far far more advanced than even Gerrard plays when in the middle.

      He didn't seem interested in ball winning at all, essentially as soon as Lille won the ball, he was up level with the strikers.

      I didn't see anything that would make me think that he was a Rafa type player. Based on the games I saw it's a bit of a stretch to call him box-box or the teams engine room!

      TBH seems to be a Lampard with crap passing and work rate.

        Rafa wanted Mintal and Bodmer is a similar type of player. Works his socks off but that can also score goals.
        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          I thought I'd seem somewhere that he was supposed to be a DM. Like I say from what I saw he is more of an AM. That your impression too?

            He can play in both positions from what I have seen but prefers to play higher up the pitch.

                have seen him twice - seemed like the best player on the park once and also top quality in the other. the only problem is the quality of both games were dreadful. much better options available for me.
