Just booked the flights out to Barcelona, and am now looking for cheap accommodation...can anyone recommened an area close enough, and nice and cheap?

Flying out on the Tuesday and coming back on the Thursday myself.
Need somewhere to crash thats safe enough and near some decent pubs as I plan on having a few shandies.

Think Hostels might be worth a look mate. My mate went travelling in the summer and was in Barca for three days- 14 quid a night for basic but clean accomadation and also I guess theres the chance of other reds being there so it's bound to make for a good atmosphere.Manchester. . . WANK WANK WANK

I've peronaly stayed at a much cheaper hotel right in the centre called the guitart almirante. cheaper and nowhere near as luxurious but very convenient for "doing" barca.
