    Peter Crouch to Newcastle

....if only!! He's not even good enough for the Barcodes!

Please to god, sell him! We should be 3-0 up in this game yet we're 1-0 down.

We will never win the league with players of the calibre of Peter Crouch. He's 6ft 7in and can't even head a ball properly, its an absolute joke!

If we could get £7-8m back for him we should take someone's hands off.

This would be better received on 6CM

There's nothing like a kneejerk reaction before the game's over

You could see what was coming though.

If he had put those chances away we would have had the three points today, that's the difference in class that we will need to win the title.

It's not a knee jerk reaction he's never been good enough!

Well no offence but I can't be bothered with this. We lose a game an the knives are straight out, so we lost, so Crouch had a bad game, doesn't mean we should sell him.

Rafa will only sell him if he has another better striker lined up.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Fair enough mate, if you want to avoid the facts and hide from the truth then you do that, the fact is, we will never win a title with Peter Crouch in our starting eleven, he's just not good enough, the gap in quality is immense.

It's no good walking around with blind optimism.

For more than 7-8 mill, I would sell.
                Said that for ages.
He should be an impact sub, nothing more.
And he is too valuable to just keep in such a role I feel.
Use those millions to buy a top striker who can actually score.

Who's our top scorer this season then?

There's plenty out there so it shouldn't be too difficult.

He has his uses but he's just not what we need to bridge the gap between us and the top, he's way too slow and his shooting and heading leave a lot to be desired on most occasions.

                    16 points and counting.

Give us the percentage of his goalscoring chance conversion then?
He wastes too many chances mate. Tons, actually.
Thats why I think he isnt good enough to be a starter. And he is worth too much money to keep on the bench imo.

The league is where it counts mate and he's got 2, Kuyt's got 6 and Bellamy 5. He scored one good goal in the CL and goals against mediocre opposition, we need someone who can make a difference against better teams.

It's not goal counts I'm talking about anyway, its the difference in quality that is leaving us behind, you can't afford to miss the chances he missed today, you could say fair anough if they had been good headers and Friedel made good saves, but he didn't trouble the keeper at all.

His all round play just isn't good enough for a team who want to challenege for the tile

So we sell our top goal scorer to "use those millions to buy someone who can actually score".

So are we selling Kuyt, Bellamy and Fowler first then?
