we all know the market is inflated nowadays but can you find another striker with his experience at 25 & his goal scoring record ?
He works really hard this lad and if we can flock Crouch for 12£ which is again way over his price then we will be laughing all the way to #19 next season.

    Kuyt & Villa up front

I'm not knocking Villa I'm just expressing how poor I think Torres is.

Would I like us to sign David Villa? Yes!

Will we sign him? Not a chance!

I know yer not knockin' him mate
If we get the investment then I can't see why we can't sign Villa in January.
The Geordies always paid over the odds for players, don't bet on them NOT doing it again

OK, Crouch is no Shearer, but Villa isn't either, and Crouch is closer to Shearer than Villa is, and we have enough little uns doing that role, it's the Shearer type of player we need to compliment the other strikers we have, so I'd rather keep Crouchy for that role and shift Robbie on actually, as much as that saddens me, that is my first acknowledgement of me wanting to move Robbie out of the way for someone else.

Agree. We need a 3rd/4th striker who is going to push Kuyt and Bellamy to the limit!

Crouch has weighed in with goals when played. He gives us something different.

I think him leaving will leave a hole in our play especially in Europe

12 mill for Crouchie-- bite their hands off!!! I like the guy....but thats a handsome profit there

I think Crouch would actually do well in a team like Newcastle, they have Duff, NZogbia, Solano and Dyer to cross for him and Martins/Owen to play upfront with him. They would have an decent attack, too bad their defense sucks and will probably continue to do so.
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Roeder have said that they will make a bid so of course the papers will then come up with a story about us selling him to them and replacing him with Villa.

Villa isn't happy at Valencia right now and is prepared to leave if you believe the rumours.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Its not an anti-Crouch agenda, its a pro-Liverpool agenda, we need better players then Peter Crouch for a shot at the title, its not a personal dig at Crouch its a post about the team, saying we need a higher claibre/quality striker to compete with the best teams.

Why, he doesn't have to like the Beatles, or England?
